Project R1 3.0T EA839 V6 — a high-performance intake system designed for vehicles equipped with the EA839 3.0T engine.

The main improvement is the enlarged one-piece intake plenum. Unlike the factory split design, this system uses a less restrictive airflow path with a significantly increased cross-sectional area, reducing airflow resistance.

The air filter has also been redesigned and uses a high-performance cotton filter media. The filter allows more airflow than the OEM filter with lower pressure drop, while maintaining the same level of filtration.

The entire system is designed for increased airflow capacity, with higher overall airflow than the OEM system. This reduces the load on the turbocharger and improves both throttle and turbocharger response, allowing the vehicle to accelerate more quickly and reach maximum power more efficiently.

The new intake plenum is manufactured as a single piece and extends all the way to the turbocharger inlet adapter. At the same time, it retains an OEM+ appearance and the factory engine-bay layout.
